Kevin-Prince Boateng: It's difficult to beat a team like Bayern, and particularly when we made so many mistakes. Bayern's positional and possession game was outstanding, and it was difficult to take control. We had a few chances, but when you don't take them, you don't deserve to win.

Benedikt Höwedes: We tried everything. In the first 25 minutes we restricted Bayern to very few chances, but then went and conceded two silly goals which broke us, so we can't complain. From the half-hour mark onwards Bayern were the better team and the difference in quality was too big to overcome.

Jerome Boateng: We're improving every game, we had lots of possession and used the ball really well.

Bastian Schweinsteiger: From the first minute, we approached the game very seriously. We wanted to pick up the three points at all costs. It's not easy to win here, and that's why we're even more pleased with the result and the performance.
