Dortmund - Robert Lewandowski may be fit enough to feature for against Hamburger SV on Saturday after receiving an injury boost from club doctor Markus Braun.

"Not out of the question"

The 25-year old returned to Dortmund from the Polish national team with tendonitis in his left knee, and therefore played no part in his country's FIFA World Cup qualifier against San Marino on Tuesday night.

Club doctor Dr. Braun diagnosed the injury on Tuesday afternoon and ordered the striker to take a two-day break from training before lining up a reassessment later in the week.

According to Dr. Braun, Lewandowski's participation in Saturday's encounter is "not out of the question".
