Van der Vaart suffers thigh injury
Katwijk - Hamburger SV midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has suffered a torn thigh muscle in training with the Dutch national team.
The 30-year-old left the Dutch training camp in Katwijk on Tuesday with the injury, and it is unclear whether he will return to training with the Oranje.
The Netherlands play in Estonia on Friday, and then four days later against Andorra. The Bundesliga's other representatives in the squad are Arjen Robben (FC Bayern München) and Paul Verhaegh (FC Augsburg). The 1988 European Champions lead qualifying Group D with 18 points ahead of Hungary with eleven, and Romania with ten.
