bundesliga.com rounds up the post-match reactions...

Henrikh Mkhitaryan*: It was my first match and I have to say thanks to the fans. They really helped us today. Braunschweig were difficult opposition. They played defensively and closed down the space, but we had a good second half. The most important thing was to win and take three points.

Jonas Hofmann: Scoring my first Bundesliga goal in front of the Südtribüne [Signal Iduna Park's famous south stand] is the best thing I could've imagined, especially as it was such an important goal. I'm going to relax and enjoy it this evening.

Eintracht Braunschweig

Dennis Kruppke*: It wasn't quite good enough today. We played well though and it's a shame we couldn't get a result. We just weren't able to stick to our plan, which was to stop them scoring.

Kevin Kratz*: We can be pleased with the performance, if not the result. I think everyone saw how well we performed today.
