Munich - has told French sports paper L'Equipe he could be deployed as a No10 under Pep Guardiola at FC Bayern Munich next season.

"Even better"

A left-sided winger by trade, the France international enjoyed his finest campaign to date last term as the Bavarians wrapped up an historic treble.

However, the 30-year-old has revealed he could find himself in a more central role in the months ahead as Guardiola prepares to put his stamp on the 2013 UEFA Champions League winners' squad. "He asked me which is my preferred position and if I could possibly play as a No10," Ribery said."I told him that I can play anywhere in attack. He has lots of ideas."

Ribery, who officially put pen to paper on a new, four-year deal on Friday, also discussed the impact the former FC Barcelona coach has already had at the club since taking hold of the reins last Monday. "Guardiola is extremely motivated. You feel exactly what he wants to do. He will make us even better," he added.
