Czech international defender Michal Kadlec is taking his leave of Bayer 04 Leverkusen and the Bundesliga after agreeing terms with top Turkish outfit Fenerbahce SK.

"Michal has been one of Bayer 04's most influential players over the past few years. He delivered the goods out on the pitch and earned a very good reputation for himself in Leverkusen, and we wish him all the best for the future," sporting director Rudi Völler commented.

joined Bayer from Sparta Prague in 2008 on an initial loan deal, going on to rack up 125 Bundesliga appearances for the Werkself and chipping in with nine goals. The 28-year-old left back has represented the Czech Republic 32 times to date, bagging a further nine goals for his country.
