Munich - FC Bayern Munich’s advisory panel have named a five-man board of directors headed by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, whose contract has been extended by three years until 31 December 2016.
New entry
Rummenigge has been confirmed as the club’s chief executive with Andreas Jung’s contract as marketing director also extended until the end of 2016.
Jörg Wacker is the new face on the Bayern board, assuming the role of director for internationalisation and strategy. Jan-Christian Dressen (finance director) and Matthias Sammer (sporting director) complete the quintet.
Wacker, who is director of bwin Deutschland, will take his place on the board from 1 July. The decisions were made at an advisory panel meeting on Monday.
