Badstuber suffers setback
Munich - FC Bayern Munich defender has suffered a setback on the road to recovery from his cruciate ligament injury.
The 23-year-old was stretchered off during his side's 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund at the beginning of December, but has had to undergo a further operation to remove scar tissue on the troublesome right knee.
The centre-back will follow a specialised ten-day recovery program before continuing his rehabilitation plan as normal. It is not yet known whether Badstuber will be able to make a comeback before the end of the season.
