Munich - TSV 1860 Munich have relieved Torsten Fröhling of his duties as head coach, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Fröhling, who had been in charge of the Munich club since February 2015, oversaw 1860's successful bid to avoid relegation from Bundesliga 2 back in May, guiding the Lions to a two-legged play-off victory over Holstein Kiel.
Benjamin takes training
This season has not been a happy one for 1860, however. After ten games, they are yet to record a single victory, having drawn their last four matches in a row, languishing second-bottom in the standings.
Assistant coach Collin Benjamin will lead Tuesday's morning training session as the club endeavours to find a permanent replacement for Fröhling and an eighth coach in just under three years.
