DSC Arminia Bielefeld beat 2-0 1. FC Union Berlin in their final home game of the 2015/16 season on Matchday 33.
Unbeaten in their last two and already safe for another season, Bielefeld were the better side for long periods. David Ulm got the breakthrough early in the second half to give the hosts a deserved lead, before turning provider for Fabian Klos in added time.
Bielefeld cannot fall any lower than 13th or rise higher than 11th when they take on Karlsruher SC on the final day, but Union could yet move up to fifth if they get the better of freshly crowned Bundesliga 2 champions SC Freiburg and results elsewhere go their way.
