DSC Arminia Bielefeld came from behind to clinch an impressive 4-2 victory over SpVgg Greuther Fürth, which guarantees them Bundesliga 2 football again next season.
On a sunny and snowy afternoon, the hosts made a strong start to proceedings, but fell behind against the run of play when Robert Zulj broke the deadlock on the quarter-hour mark. Fürth lead lasted all of five minutes though as Felix Klos slid in to level the scores, sending the sides in level at the break.
Not satisfied with a point, Bielefeld were quick out of the blocks after the break as Klos bagged his brace soon after the restart, before completing his hat-trick with an hour played to put Arminia on course for victory. Julian Börner put the game beyond doubt with a well-taken header, meaning that his comical own-goal in the dying seconds was little more than a late consolation effort for die Kleeblätter.
