USA international Bobby Wood scored a late equaliser as 1. FC Union Berlin came from two goals down to earn a point at 1. FC Kaiserslautern on Friday.

1. FC Kaiserslautern 2-2 1. FC Union Berlin

Kaiserslautern gave themselves a two-goal lead before the break thanks to strikes from Ruben Jenssen (34') and Marcel Gaus (40'), who both took advantage of fine approach work from Jean Zimmer.

However, Fabian Schönheim's header from a Felix Kroos ball reduced the deficit (76') and Wood then fired home his eighth goal of the season four minutes from time to help Sascha Lewandowski's men edge a further point clear of the bottom three.
