MSV Duisburg remain rooted to the foot of the Bundesliga 2 standings after falling to a narrow 2-1 defeat away to DSC Arminia Bielefeld.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld 2-1 MSV Duisburg

Duisburg got off to a dream start when Thomas Bröker converted from close range. Bielefeld turned the game on its head in the space of four first-half minutes, however, with Fabian Klos and Christopher Nöthe grabbing the goals to put the hosts in the driving seat.

Duisburg gave it a good go in the second period, but chances were few and far between - Zlatko Janjic’s 73rd-minute free kick the closest the Zebras came to finding an equaliser.
