MSV Duisburg 0-5 Eintracht Braunschweig

Eintracht Braunschweig moved to within two points of the promotion places thanks to a crushing 5-0 win away to rock-bottom MSV Duisburg. SpVgg Greuther Fürth 3-0 SC Paderborn 07

Fürth celebrated their 112th birthday with a third successive win in a four-game unbeaten run that has put their season back on track. Sebastian Freis' first-half goal (24') was followed by Tom Weilandt's strike (59') with Jurgen Gjasula's fourth goal of the season (79') capping a fine victory.

Arminia Bielefeld 1-1 VfL Bochum

VfL Bochum continued their excellent early-season form with a 1-1 draw at DSC Arminia Bielefeld which preserves their unbeaten record in Bundesliga 2 this season. 1. FC Kaiserslautern 0-3 1. FC Nürnberg

1. FC Nürnberg took a leap up the Bundesliga 2 standings with a comprehensive away win at 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The two sides came into Tuesday night's fixture separated by just a point, but there was an evident gulf between the two sides which the Bavarians made larger and larger as the game ticked on. Even Hovland headed them in front against the run of play just before half-time, and two goals in five minutes from Alessandro Schöpf and Guido Burgstaller sealed victory for Rene Weiler's men.

Karlsruher SC 1-1 Fortuna Düsseldorf

Karlsruher SC and Fortuna Düsseldorf played out a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night with the goals all coming in the final 20 minutes. Both goalkeepers, Dirk Orlishausen and Michael Rensing, kept things tight until the former's goal was breached in the 70th minute by Kerem Demirbay's free-kick. Erwin Hoffer equalised for the hosts ten minutes later and the two keepers then ensured there was to be no further scoring at the Wildparkstadion, with both sides remaining in precarious positions near the foot of the table.

SV Sandhausen 1-1 TSV 1860 Munich

SV Sandhausen are still waiting for their first win in five games while TSV 1860 Munich do not have a win at all yet this season after a 1-1 stalemate on Tuesday night. Ranisav Jovanovic gave Sandhausen a lead which lasted less than 60 seconds before Korbinian Vollmann brought 1860 back on terms. The teams cancelled each other out in the second half with chances at a premium, and the result was a point each.
