TSV 1860 Munich remained rooted inside the bottom two of Bundesliga 2 after being held to a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena by VfL Bochum.

TSV 1860 Munich 1-1 VfL Bochum

1860 were bidding to bring an end to a six-game losing streak, but the nerves were on show after such a run without a success and they struggled to create much against their high-flying opponents. They eventually managed to open the scoring nine minutes before the break, Rubin Okotie heading in Michael Liendl's corner.

Bochum soon hit back and, after going close twice, they levelled just before the break when Marco Terrazzino's deflected shot went in off the inside of the post. Bochum could have taken the lead from the penalty spot after an hour, but Stefan Ortega saved Arvydas Novikovas' effort and the inspired goalkeeper continued to keep Bochum at bay as 1860 ended their losing streak with a draw.
