1. FC Kaiserslautern returned to winning ways in Bundesliga 2 following a nervy 2-0 victory over basement club MSV Duisburg.
The home side managed to stay in touch with the chasing pack at the top of Bundesliga 2 with a hard-fought win over bottom-club Duisburg. Maurice Deville finally broke the deadlock on the hour mark with his third goal in four games. The Luxemburg striker rose above Wolze to plant home an unstoppable header from Chris Löwe’s pinpoint cross.
The Red Devils had to survive a few decidedly nervy moments as Duisburg came close to forcing an equalizer. But deep into stoppage time, Mateusz Klich put some gloss on the result with the second goal.
