Berlin - 1. FC Union and FC St. Pauli played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the capital on Matchday 11.
Pauli got their noses in front when Waldemar Sobota fired home after 22 minutes, but two goals in quick succession from Union's Erol Zejnullahu and Maximillian Thiel ensured the home side went in at the break with a narrow lead. Union were pegged back just nine minutes into the second half, however, when Marc Hornschuh drove home Daniel Buballa's cross from close range.
The game looked like it really could go either way as Robin Himmelmann pulled off a five save to keep out Union captain Damir Kreilach, before Jeremy Dudziak struck to put Pauli back in front. Himmelmann foiled Kreilach yet again as Union threw the kitchen sink, but the hosts were not to be denied as Benjamin Kessel drove in the equaliser in the fourth minute of added time.
