Braunschweig - Ten-man Eintracht Braunschweig fought back to down FC Erzgebirge Aue 4-2 and keep their promotion chances alive.

The home side enjoyed a dream start at the Eintracht-Stadion, Jan Hochscheidt putting the Lions in front against his former side less than two minutes into play. Aue reacted well, however, USA forward Bobby Wood sending them level after a fine solo effort before Stipe Vucur headed the guests in front to give them a 2-1 half-time lead.

Hendrick Zuck then restored parity for Braunschweig just after the stroke of the hour. Despite being downed to ten men seconds later following a second yellow for Maximilian Sauer, Thorsten Lieberknecht's charges remained on the front foot, Emil Berggreen nodding home to give his side the lead before Marc Pfitzner all but sealed three points two minutes from time.
