Bochum - RB Leipzig continued their recent run of good form by making it three wins from their last four thanks to a 2-1 win away at VfL Bochum on Sunday afternoon.

Yussuf Poulsen put the away side ahead early on, latching on to Emil Forsberg’s neat through-ball and finishing with aplomb past Andreas Luthe in the Bochum goal. The home side reacted well to falling behind, however, and might have been level before the break when Marco Terrazzino fired wide after neat build-up play.

The equaliser came just after the hour-mark when Simon Terodde slotted home his 15th goal of the season, but Dominik Kaiser’s cheeky free-kick - placed under the wall and into the corner - just minutes later was enough to win it for the Saxons, with Bochum ending the game a man down after Anthony Losilla picked up two yellow cards.
