Fürth - Eintracht Braunschweig came from behind to beat ten-man SpVgg Greuther Fürth 2-1 on Saturday.

After heading Niko Gießelmann’s cross against the left-hand post with the game just a minute old, former Braunschweig defender Marco Caligiuri saw red for a professional foul on Havard Nielsen. Undeterred, the Clover Leaves got their noses in front when Robert Zulj fired home a cross from Kacper Przybylko, but the lead lasted just three minutes as Stefan Thesker inadvertently directed Nielsen’s cutback into his own net.

Nielsen fired over as the Lions looked to make the most of their man advantage, before Nik Omladic tested the reflexes of Wolfgang Hesl. The pressure eventually told 11 minutes from time, though, with Ken Reichel coverting at the back post from Benjamin Kessel's cross to deepen Fürth's relegation worries.
