Braunschweig - Promotion-chasing Eintracht Braunschweig held Bundesliga 2 leaders FC Ingolstadt 04 to a 0-0 draw on Matchday 26 at the Eintracht Stadion.

The hosts began in powerful fashion, with chances falling to Havard Nielsen and Ken Reichel before Ingolstadt keeper Ramazan Özcan had to be sharp on his feet to deny Emil Berggreen. After the quarter-hour mark, however, the league leaders began to assert their authority on the encounter, with Pascal Groß to the fore and Stefan Lex twice testing Rafal Gikiewicz in the Lions' goal.

The second half followed much the same pattern, with Lex and Mathew Leckie coming close for the dominant Ingolstadt, although Torsten Lieberknecht's troops were threatening on the break. Indeed, the best chance of the game fell to the home side, but Hendrick Zuck's 72nd-minute effort from distance slid agonisingly wide. It was Braunschweig who pushed harder for a late winner, but Ralph Hasenhüttl's men stood strong as the sides shared the points in the chase for promotion.
