Hamburg - FC St. Pauli remain in the bottom three of Bundesliga 2 after being held at home to a 1-1 draw against FSV Frankfurt.

Lennart Thy gave the Hamburg club the lead early in the second half when he converted Jan Philipp Kalla's pass, turning inside a defender and lashing a left-foot shot into the near corner. The visitors were level shortly afterwards, though, as Sebastian Maier's poor headed clearance allowed Mario Engels to tee up Joni Kauko for a close-range finish.

The hosts almost snatched the points late on when Sören Gonther's header was saved, but the result leaves them still in the thick of relegation danger, while Frankfurt remain in mid-table thanks to only their second point in seven trips to the Millerntor Stadion.
