Berlin - 1. FC Union Berlin made it five games in a row unbeaten at home after securing a 0-0 draw against 1. FC Kaiserslautern.

The capital club had Mohamed Amsif to thank for notching a point against their promotion-pushing guests, who were the better of the two sides for most the game, Union's custodian denying Kaiserslautern on a couple of occasions. Karim Matmour missed the best opportunity for the visitors 50 minutes into the game, with Philipp Hofmann and Jean Zimmer wasting further chances for the Red Devils.
