Sandhausen - SV Sandhausen remain unbeaten in 2015 after a 2-0 victory over VfR Aalen at the Hardtwaldstadion on Matchday 23.

The relegation-threatened visitors dominated the opening half-hour of a tense affair, with Sascha Mockenhaupt spurning the best early chance. However, after the 30-minute mark, the hosts upped the ante, Andrew Wooten missing a gilt-edged opportunity to open the scoring before half time.

With one goal and no win to their name this year, Aalen's lack of confidence was evident and capitalised upon by Alois Schwartz's side in the 65th minute with Aziz Bouhaddouz's fourth goal of the campaign. The visitors bravely attempted to battle back, but the game was put to bed when Mockenhaupt put past his own keeper with seven minutes remaining. The victory lifts Sandhausen to 13th place, but keeps Stefan Ruthenbeck's side firmly in the relegation zone.
