Braunschweig - Eintracht Braunschweig were held to a 1-1 draw at home to RB Leipzig in Matchday 22's final fixture.

Aiming to bounce back from two consecutive defeats, the hosts started into the contest full of purpose and took a deserved leads seconds before the interval when Danish attacker Emil Berggreen slotted home from a tight angle after seeing his initial effort bounce off the crossbar.

Leipzig, without a win in their previous four encounters, were much improved after the break, with FC Bayern München-bound midfielder Joshua Kimmich going agonisingly close to drawing his side level 11 minutes from time, before captain Dominik Kaiser went one better with a tidy close-range equaliser. Despite being reduced to ten men following Yussuf Poulsen's second booking of the night, the visitors held on to end their two-game losing streak.
