Karlsruhe - Promotion hopefuls Karlsruher SC remain unbeaten in 2015 after playing out a goalless draw at home to VfL Bochum 1848.

Karlsruher started brightly as Manuel Torres and Rouwen Hennings wasted two promising openings after some good work in midfield from Hiroki Yamada. Danny Latza and Selim Gündüz went closest for the visitors, forcing a couple of decent saves from Rene Vollath.

Timo Perthel shot narrowly wide as Bochum turned the screw, before bringing a fine finger-tip save out of Vollath, who was later on hand to snuff out a promising solo run from Terodde. Substitute Ilijan Micanski could have won it for the home side against the run of play, but was unable to get the better of Michael Esser in the Bochum goal.
