Fürth - RB Leipzig picked up a second away win of the season courtesy of a 1-0 victory at Greuther Fürth's Trolli Arena.

Despite losing key striker Terrence Boyd to injury in midweek, visitors Leipzig showed no signs of missing him, as Rani Khedira and Ante Rebic came closest to opening the scoring in an entertaining first period. Stephan Schröck was Fürth's best outlet during the opening 45 minutes, but the hosts struggled in the face of Leipzig's packed midfield.

Despite that, Frank Kramer's men defended well and had chances of their own through Benedikt Röcker and Marco Stiepermann. It took until the 76th minute for a dominant Leipzig to find the goal they deserved, Niklas Hoheneder firing home from close range. The goal took the wind out of Fürth's sails, and they struggled to muster a response as the visitors closed out a vital three points.
