Darmstadt - Promoted side SV Darmstadt 98 continued their astonishing start to the Bundesliga 2 season as they drew 0-0 draw at home with a well-organised Greuther Fürth side on Saturday afternoon.

Fürth had the better of the first half, in which they neutralised Darmstadt's play and hit them on the break. The visitors went closest to scoring after half an hour when Christian Mathenia twice had to deny Kacper Przybylko after a dangerous cross from Robert Zulj was almost turned into his own goal by Romain Bregerie.

Darmstadt found a few more openings in the second period, but apart from a Marcel Heller cross which hit the top of the crossbar, they were unable to find a way through. However, with Mathenia keeping his ninth clean sheet of the season, it was nevertheless enough for a point to keep Darmstadt within touching distance at the top.
