Bochum - Bottom club FC St. Pauli conceded an 81st-minute equaliser to draw 3-3 at VfL Bochum in a thrilling game at the rewirpowerSTADION.

St. Pauli went into the encounter having taken just one point from their last six games but they went ahead thanks to a classy finish from Paul Verhoek just after the half-hour mark. A Philipp Ziereis own goal had Bochum level soon afterwards, but the visitors’ lead was restored by Sebastian Maier.

The game continued to ebb and flow after the break and Stanislav Sestak levelled again for the home side before the hour-mark. Another well-taken Maier goal had the Hamburg outfit ahead again at 3-2, but substitute Tobias Weis had the final say with a low strike nine minutes from time that ensured the spoils were shared.
