Aue - Damir Kreilach grabbed a brace to help 1 FC Union Berlin come from behind to beat Erzgebirge Aue 2-1.

Chances were not lacking, which is why it was a surprise that the game was still goalless at half-time. Both defences struggled, showing why both Aue and Union find themselves in the nether reaches of the Bundesliga 2 standings, but the attacks were not faring any better. Solomon Okoronkwo went the closest, but his fifth-minute effort rattled the crossbar.

The deadlock was finally broken ten minutes into the second half when Stipe Vucur headed Romario Kortzorg's free-kick into the top left-hand corner. Union had to gamble, and it paid off with just over ten minutes remaining when Kreilach levelled from point-blank range, helping Sebastian Polter's header across the line before keeping his composure to score the winner late on.
