Leipzig - RB Leipzig continued their unbeaten home record courtesy of a Terrence Boyd-inspired 4-1 success over struggling FC St. Pauli 04.

After controlling the opening quarter of an hour, a stunning solo effort from Danish star Yussuf Poulsen gave RB Leipzig a deserved lead in the 17th minute. They doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark when USA international Boyd nodded home to crown an excellent half from the home side. Despite St. Pauli emerging stronger from the dressing rooms and reducing the deficit almost immediately through Enis Alushi, Boyd completed his brace in the 53rd minute before a Jon Verhoek own goal compounded St. Pauli's misery 15 minutes from time. The win lifts Alexander Zorniger's men into fifth place, while Pauli remain second from bottom.
