Braunschweig - Benjamin Kessel scored twice as Eintracht Braunschweig hit back from two goals down to rescue a 2-2 draw with SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

Following a first half devoid of clear-cut chances, the game sprung to life after the restart, with Braunschweig's Rafal Gikiewicz making a stunning reaction save to keep out Benedikt Röcker's bullet header. The Polish stopper could do nothing to prevent the Clover Leaves' next effort, though, Marco Stiepermann collecting Kacper Przybylko's pass and bending into the far corner from 12 yards out. Steipermann returned the favour as Przybylko made it two, before Kessel reduced the arrears with 18 minutes still to play. Time looked to have got the better of the hosts, only for that man Kessel to head home his third of the season with virtually the last kick of the game.
