Hamburg - Lasse Sobiech scored a stoppage-time winner as FC St. Pauli beat SV Sandhausen 2-1 on Friday evening.

Christopher Nöthe gave the Hamburg-based club the lead after just four minutes, firing home from close range after Ante Budimir had dispossessed Florian Hübner deep inside the Sandhausen half. The visitors equalised half-way through the first period, however, Rene Gartler netting his first goal for the club to restore parity.

Both sides spurned good opportunities to take the lead in the second half, but just as it seemed the game was petering out into a draw, Sobiech prodded home following a goalmouth scramble to hand St Pauli their first three points of the season.
