Kaiserslautern - Ten-man 1. FC Kaiserslautern came from two goals down to beat TSV 1860 Munich 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion.

Red Devils keeper Tobias Sippel was shown a straight red card for handling the
ball outside the penalty area with twenty minutes gone, and the visitors made their numerical advantage count soon after when Rubin Okotie's deflected effort flew past Marius Müller and into the roof of the net. The Austrian striker doubled his personal tally with a bullet header just seven minutes later to give the Lions a comfortable half-time advantage.

Kaiserslautern were presented with an opportunity to reduce the arrears when Jean Zimmer was felled inside the box by Guillermo Vallori, allowing Srdjan Lakic to step up and slam home the spot-kick. It was Lakic who headed home the equaliser just three minutes later and moments after the Croatian had been replaced by Philipp Hofmann, the former FC Schalke 04 youngster bundled home a corner to send the home fans into raptures.
