Munich - TSV 1860 ended a run of three straight home defeats by beating struggling DSC Arminia Bielefeld 2-1 at the Allianz Arena.

The hosts had come into the game on the back of a demoralising 4-2 loss to Dynamo Dresden on Matchday 30, but they started brightly and were in front after just four minutes when Daniel Adlung's cross was deflected in via the underside of the bar, with the referee consulting his linesman before awarding the goal. Bielefeld were a threat going forward, however, and they equalised on the half-hour mark through Ben Sahar's composed left-foot finish.

There were chances for both teams after the break, but the Lions won it when Kai Bülow lashed in from close range after the visitors failed to clear a corner. Bielefeld remain three points behind Dresden who occupy the relegation playoff spot, while 1860 Moves above FC Erzgebirge Aue into tenth.
