Aue - There was no separating Erzgebirge Aue and 1860 Munich on Matchday 25 as both sides overturned one-goal deficits to share the spoils on the Saturday afternoon.

The visitors got off to a perfect start converting their very first goalscoring opportunity when Yuya Osako's flick on from Markus Steinhöfer's corner allowed Grzegorz Wojtkowiak to poke home from close range. Moritz Stoppelkamp could have extended the lead soon after, but after recovering from the shock of falling behind early it was Aue who began to turn the screw.

Though their pressure didn't tell before the break, it took just four minutes after the restart for them to restore parity as Jakub Sylvestr capitalised on an error by Julian Weigl to slot past Gabor Kiraly. With the hosts in the ascendency, 1860 dropped deeper and were duly punished when Rico Benatelli fired Aue in front with four minutes remaining. However, the Lions and Osako had the last laugh when the Japanese striker rose highest at the front post to head home with what proved to be the last touch of the encounter, rescuing his side a point and leaving Aue precariously positioned just above the drop zone.
