Aue - A Niclas Füllkrug hat-trick inspired SpVgg Greuther Fürth to a 6-2 victory at FC Erzgebirge Aue in Bundesliga 2.

The visitors, who had lost their last three league games going into Saturday’s encounter, got off to a flying start when Füllkrug capitalised on an error by Aue keeper Sascha Kirschstein to slot into an empty net. Füllkrüg netted his and Fürth’s second just minutes later, tapping home from close range, before the 20-year-old completed an eleven-minute hat-trick with a low shot from the edge of the area.

A Jakub Sylvestr header pulled a goal back for Aue midway through the first half and Dominic Rau further reduced the deficit two minutes into the second, but Rau put through his own net soon after to restore Fürth's two-goal advantage. Zoltan Stieber then converted from the penalty spot after Guido Koncer had fouled Niko Gießelmann, before Füllkrug grabbed his fourth of the match five minutes from time to secure an emphatic victory for Frank Kramer's side.
