Berlin - 1. FC Union Berlin produced a stunning comeback to beat FC St Pauli 3-2 after falling two goals behind in the Alte Försterei Stadium.

The club from Hamburg got off to the best possible start, racing two goals ahead within six minutes. John Verhoek sensationally had them in front after just 30 seconds, before Fin Bartels made it two with a clean strike. Torsten Mattuschka then reduced the deficit from the penalty spot for Union, before Adam Nemec equalised with a header from Mattuschka’s cross. The turnaround was then complete when substitute headed in with four minutes remaining.
