Fürth - Ognjen Mudrinski’s header ensured Greuther Fürth extended their 100 per cent start to the season with all three points against fellow promotion hopefuls 1. FC Kaiserslautern at the Trolli Arena.

Mohammadou Idrissou put the visitors in front with a header of his own on 32 minutes, but Goran Sukalo nodded the hosts level just three minutes later. Both sides had chances after the break, but it was Fürth who snatched the win ten minutes from time when Mudrinski met Stieber’s corner at the far post.

The victory means Fürth overtake Karlsruher SC at the top of the Bundesliga 2 table with a perfect record from their first three games of the season while the Red Devils dropped points for the first time this term.
