Paderborn - 1. FC Köln are still waiting for their first win of the season after they left it late to salvage a 1-1 draw at SC Paderborn.

Kacper Przybylko's last-gasp strike cancelled out Markus Krösche’s early goal to deny the East Westphalians all three points at the death, leaving both sides without a win yet this season.

Full throttle Paderborn, Köln leave it late

The home team made their intentions clear from the outset, forcing their adversaries back and practically preventing them from seeing the ball, let alone touching it. Krösche added a stunning finish to some good build-up play to put Paderborn in front with a diving header in the 15th minute.

Thomas Bertels went close to making it two as the home side showed no sign of letting up in the second half. Köln’s reaction came 15 minutes from time when Lukas Kruse saved from Anthony Ujah. It was backs to the wall for Paderborn and they failed to resist, Przybylko prodding the ball home three minutes into stoppage time to salvage a point.
