St. Margrethen - Karlsruher SC have stepped up preparations for a return to Bundesliga 2 with a 1-0 win over Swiss Super League side FC St. Gallen in front of 351 fans in St. Margrethen.

Patrick Dulleck scored the only goal of the game just after the interval.

Serious test

KSC started the game with their strongest team, taking the friendly as an important test of how ready they are for their first game of the season at FSV Frankfurt on 21 July.
