The wait is finally over - it's the BunDucksLiga 2017!

It's that time of year again! The BunDucksLiga is back, with ducks representing the 18 Bundesliga clubs set to compete for the crown in 2017. We know one thing for sure: thanks to your votes, the BunDucksLiga will take place indoors in 2017. A total of 52 per cent of Bundesliga users voted to see this year's event take place inside.

Does that make Hertha Berlin the favourite? That's where they famously pipped FC Bayern München to the inaugural BunDucksLiga title in a photo finish back in 2015.

How does the BunDucksLiga 2017 work?

It's all very simple! There are three groups, each containing six ducks. The fastest two ducks in each group reach the final. With no further ado, here are the groups:

Group A: FC Augsburg, 1. FSV Mainz 05, SV Werder Bremen, FC Bayern München, SC Freiburg, FC Schalke 04

Group B: 1. FC Köln, RB Leipzig, FC Ingolstadt 04, Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund, VfL Wolfsburg

Group C: TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, Hertha Berlin, Hamburger SV, SV Darmstadt 98, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Borussia Mönchengladbach

The ducks will be accompanying their clubs to warm-weather training camps over the next few weeks, before the winner emerges in February. We at will, of course, keep you updated with all the latest.
