Information on the use of cookies

The following information explains what Cookies are, which Cookies are used on the website and their respective function as well as how they can be administered or deactivated.

1. What is a Cookie?

1.1 Browser Cookies

Cookies are small text data files which are stored locally in the cache of the Internet browser of a visitor to the Website ("User"). 1.2      Flash cookies

The advertising partners/clients and service providers of DFL can also use Local Shared Objects (LSO), also referred to as flash cookies, in order to collect and store data. Flash cookies are different from browser cookies with regard to the number, the type and the method of storing data. They cannot be deleted using the administration tools for cookies which a User has in his Internet browser. If a User deactivates flash cookies, the User no longer has full access to numerous functions which are supposed to support the User when visiting this Website. Furthermore, not all services of DFL function correctly.

2. Which types of cookies are there?
