Terms and Conditions for Participation

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve the chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

1. Competition

1.1 From 2 May 2025 until 18 May 2025 the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH, Guiollettstrasse 44-46, 60325 Frankfurt/Main, Germany, ("DFL" or "We"), is conducting a sweepstake ("Competition") among everyone who has a Bundesliga account upon the beginning of the respective participation round or registers such a Bundesliga account via the registration option offered on our official website www.bundesliga.com ("Website") or in the official Bundesliga app before the end of the closing date for the respective participation round and carries out the daily engagement activity (e.g. quiz, voting, questions about the season finale) after logging in with their Bundesliga account to the official Bundesliga App and then actively confirms participation in the respective participation round.

Participation in the Competition and how it is conducted are governed by these Terms and Conditions ("Ts&Cs"), which the participant ("Participant") recognizes as binding by participating in the Competition and the respective participation round.

1.2 The Competition will be conducted from 2 May 2025 until 23:59 (CEST) on 18 May 2025. Participation in the draw of the respective daily prize(s) will be possible from 00:00 (CEST) to 23:59 (CEST) each day. Any entries for the Competition received after the respective close for participation will not be considered.

1.3 The following nine prizes will be raffled off in the individual participation rounds. The daily prize(s) will be listed in detail on the Competition page.

·        1 x 2 tickets for the Supercup 2025 between the Bundesliga champion of the 2024/2025 season and the DFB cup winner 2025 (expected date: 16 August 2025, final date and location still to be confirmed) (normal ticket category)   

This prize also includes travel for two persons from/to a main train station near the winner’s place of residence to the main station closest to the venue of the Supercup 2025 (from Germany) or a major airport near the winner's place of residence to the major airport closest to the venue of the Supercup 2025 (outside Germany) and two nights' hotel accommodation including breakfast (double room).

Please note the further rules in Clause 3.3 with regard to this ticket prize and the associated travel and accommodation package.

·        27 x 1 signed jerseys from clubs of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 from the 2024/2025 season

·        9 x 1 official Derbystar match ball from the 2024/2025 season

·        14 x 1 official Derbystar mini match ball from the 2024/2025 season

Unless otherwise stated in this Ts&Cs and/or on the Competition page, winning jerseys does not entitle the respective winner to receive a jersey in a specific size. We will of course do our best to fulfil the wishes of the respective winner. The final selection will be made by Us depending on the jersey availability.

1.4 The winner(s) will be determined by means of a random draw from among the Participants who (i) already have a Bundesliga account upon the beginning of the respective participation round or have registered such a Bundesliga account and, if and to the extent required by Us, have confirmed this registration by means of a so-called double opt-in before the end of the closing date for the respective participation round, (ii) carry out the daily engagement activity (e.g. quiz, voting, questions about the season finale) after logging in with their Bundesliga account to the official Bundesliga App and then actively confirm participation in the respective participation round and (iii) are eligible to participate and win in accordance with Clause 2.

2. Authorization to participate and win

2.1 Subject to the drawing of tickets, only individuals who have reached the age of 14 years are entitled to participate in the Competition. If tickets are raffled, only natural persons who are at least 18 years of age are eligible to participate.

2.2 Participation in the Competition is free of charge.

2.3 Any false or fake personal information provided by the Participant authorizes Us to exclude him or her from the Competition.

Participants who secure an illegal advantage over other Participants, or whose entries contain immoral, slanderous, discriminatory, disgusting or other illegal material, or which show or call for illegal activities will also be excluded from the Competition. Automatic computer-generated entries as well as multiple entries, multiple entries under different Bundesliga accounts and/or email addresses on one day to participate in the draw for the respective daily prize(s) are not permissible and will not be considered in the draw. This does not affect the Participant's right to take part in the draw for daily prizes on several or all days.

Our Employees, the employees of companies affiliated with Us within the meaning of §§ 15 et seq. German Stock Corporations Act (Aktiengesetz, "AktG") and DFL Foundation, employees of Our licensees, partners and sponsors, contractual partners and of those of companies affiliated with Us within the meaning of §§ 15 et seq. German Stock Corporations Act (Aktiengesetz, "AktG") and DFL Foundation are excluded from participation. The respective relatives of all these employees are also excluded from participation.

We can demand return of a prize that has already been granted in all the above-mentioned situations.

2.4 An alternate winner will be determined by conducting a new draw excluding the respective original winner in the following cases: (i) the respective winner has not reached the minimum participation age (see Clause 2.1 for further details) (ii) We reclaim a prize already distributed in accordance with Clause 2.3, (iii) the respective winner fails to contact Us within the period specified in Clause 3.2, (iv) the respective winner provides false or fake personal information and/or (v) the winner of the tickets and/or his/her accompanying person is/are not in possession of the required travel documents (e.g. passport, visa, etc.) in due time.

3. Prize notification

3.1 Prizes in each participation round are limited to one prize per winner. Multiple prizes can of course be won in different participation rounds.

3.2 The winner will be drawn and notified by email until 20 May 2025. The respective winner is obliged to contact us within seven calendar days after sending this notification. If a winner fails to do so, the respective prize will be forfeited. In this case, We will either select an alternate winner by conducting another draw excluding the respective original winner, or let the prize lapse, at Our own discretion.

3.3 The following additional rules apply to the prize in the form of tickets and the associated travel and accommodation package:

3.3.1 The claim for the ticket prize will be forfeited if the prize cannot be redeemed on the day of the Supercup 2025 due to reasons which lie solely in the person of the winner or in his/her area of responsibility (e.g. no match attendance possible due to illness).

3.3.2 Winning the tickets entitles the winner and his/her accompanying person exclusively to their private, non-commercial use. Any commercial or business resale and any other unauthorized transfer or offering of tickets by the winner concerned is prohibited. In particular, he/she is prohibited from offering, selling and/or passing on the tickets publicly, in particular at auctions or on the Internet (e.g. on Ebay, Ebay classifieds, Facebook) and/or on sales platforms not authorized by DFL and/or the participating Bundesliga clubs (e.g. viagogo, seat-wave, StubHub), or passing them on to persons who are banned from attending stadiums or who have been banned from attending sporting events in the last five years for security reasons.

In addition, the General Ticket Terms and Conditions of the home club of the Supercup 2025apply.

3.3.3 The winner and his/her accompanying person are solely responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of any necessary travel documents (e.g. passport, visa etc.). Clause 2.4 applies.

3.3.4 The trip must begin and end at the same main train station (or, if the winner and his/her accompanying person travel by plane from outside Germany, at the same major airport). The winner and his/her accompanying person are otherwise responsible for the costs and safety of transport to/from the main train station or major airport (see Clause 3.3.5 for further details). The choice of rail or airline company is at the sole discretion of DFL. After tickets have been issued, the winner and his/her accompanying person must pay any rebooking fees if they wish to change the train, flight or travel date.

3.3.5 Any expenses and incidental costs which are not expressly indicated in these Ts&Cs (in particular in the prize description in Clause 1.2) have to be borne by the winner, especially but not limited to the travel from/to the main train station or major airport or near the winner’s and his/her accompanying person’s place of residence, the stadium and/or hotel, telephone/internet, food, room-services charges, parking fees, insurances, visa and gratuities as well as individual expenses for tobacco, alcohol, clothing, gifts or anything similar.

3.4 The claim for the respective prize is not transferrable. A cash payout or payout with physical items is excluded.

3.5 We will not bear any further costs, in particular due to the non-delivery of a prize to the address named by the respective winner.

3.6 Possible taxes and fees in connection with a prize must be borne the respective winner.

4. Data privacy

4.1 If there is any suspicion that the tickets have been resold by the winner contrary to Clause 3.3.4, We may share the name and contact details of the winner with the clubs participating in the Supercup 2025, so that they can take sanction measures against the winner. The legal basis for the transmission is the legitimate interest of DFL and the clubs participating in the Supercup 2025 pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) of the European General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"). Our interest consists in the prevention of the unauthorized ticket resale.

4.2 In the event that it is necessary to redeem a prize, We will ask the respective winner for additional contact information (e.g. postal address). If a prize or part of a prize is redeemed through retailers or other providers, We are entitled to share the contact data of the respective winner with the respective retailer or provider so that they can contact the respective winner. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) GDPR.

4.3 We will observe all legal provisions on data protection and data safety. All personal data of the Participant in connection with the Competition will be solely collected, processed and stored for its conduction and deleted afterwards, unless We are legally required or entitled to further store the respective personal data.

4.4 The collection, storage and processing of personal data of the Participant (including their deletion and retention periods) in connection with the registration of a Bundesliga account and/or the subscription for and sending of newsletters (e.g. the Bundesliga Newsletter) shall in turn be conclusively determined by the Terms of Use for Services Subject to Registration and the applicable Privacy Statement pf bundesliga.com or the applicable Privacy Statement of the official Bundesliga App.

4.5 The controller of personal data processed according to these Ts&Cs is the DFL. The further data protection provisions including the rights of the Participant under the GDPR and the contact data of Our data privacy officer can be found in the Privacy Statement under the following link.

5. Warranty and liability

The following provisions apply for Our warranty and liability for the Competition provided free of charge, regardless of the legal basis:

5.1 Our liability is limited in amount to the harm typically foreseeable when concluding the contract in the case of minor negligent violation of primary duties [Kardinalpflichten] (i.e. material duties which must be fulfilled by Us and which are of major importance for achieving the purpose of the Competition or which must be complied with by Us and which, if violated, can result in endangering achievement of the purpose of the contract). We are not liable for minor negligent violation of other duties.

5.2 We assume no warranty for defects in substance and/or defects in title with regard to a prize. The respective winner can only assert warranty claims against the respective supplier. If a prize or part of a prize is provided by a partner, We are also not liable for any insolvency of this partner and the consequences of insolvency. Exclusion of the above liability for defects in substance and/or defects in title on the part of DFL does not apply if the defect in title or in the item was fraudulently not disclosed by Us.

5.3 The above limits and exclusions on liability and warranties do not apply in cases in which liability is mandated by law, especially in the case of culpable injury to life, physical integrity and health or claims under the German Product Liability Act [Produkthaftungsgesetz]. To the extent that Our liability is excluded or limited, this also applies for the personal liability of corporate bodies, employees, representatives and agents.

6. Other provisions

6.1 We reserve the right to interrupt or shut down the Competition and/or individual participation rounds at any time without stating reasons. Especially reasons involving technology and/or legal matters, as a result of which the Competition and/or the respective participation rounds can no longer be properly conducted, can be the basis for the end of the Competition.

6.2 The Competition is not connected to any social media platform and is not sponsored, supported or organized in any way by them. Such social media platforms are not the contact person for the Competition. Questions regarding the Competition have only be addressed to Us at info@bundesliga.com.

6.3 Legal recourse is excluded. Only the law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

6.4 Place of performance for the Competition is Frankfurt am Main.
