Sadio Mane embraced the Bundesliga's famed fan-player interaction after scoring a debut goal in Bayern Munich's 6-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Mane put away Bayern's third goal on opening night in Frankfurt, taking his tally to three goals in as many appearances for the record champions.

If that wasn't enough, Mane further endeared himself to the Bayern supporters by leading the post-match celebrations in the away end of the Deutsche Bank Park, climbing into the stands and chanting through a loudspeaker as part of what's known in Germany as the Humba.

Mane's goal against the UEFA Europa League winners follows his effort on his competitive Bayern debut, against RB Leipzig in the Supercup. He was also on target in a pre-season friendly win over DC United.

"We can combine, everything's flowing," Jamal Musiala, who scored twice in Frankfurt, told bundesliga.com when asked about playing with Mane. "It's just fun to play. We have an amazing team."

Head coach Julian Nagelsmann was also full of praise for the Senegalese international after the final whistle on Friday. "We need his energy," he told bundesliga.com.

"When you see him with the fans celebrating the victory. Also the style he's playing between the lines, in combination with all the other players in the offensive role. He's a really polite guy. All the players love him, so he's so important not only for scoring – even if it's also important to score, and we're happy about it."

Mane and Co. are next in action on on 14 August, when they host former coach Niko Kovac's new employers Wolfsburg. The record champions, bidding to win a record-extending 11th straight Bundesliga title, have scored 11 goals in their first two competitive games with Mane in the side.
