The Bundesliga wishes fans across the world a merry Christmas
The 2024/25 winter break is upon us and that can only mean one thing - it's Christmas time. With that in mind, the Bundesliga would like to wish all its fans around the world all the best for the holiday season.
It's been another brilliant season so far, with a Bayern Munich side rejuvenated under Vincent Kompany currently just four points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen, who are eager to retain their title after just one domestic loss this year.
There is a huge jostle for position behind them, with just four points between Eintracht Frankfurt in third and VfB Stuttgart in 10th.
We've had 135 games so far across the first 15 matchdays and 445 goals, making it the seventh successive season with an average of over three goals per game (3.3). It's the perfect time, then, for a well-earned breather.
We'll be back soon too, with Borussia Dortmund hosting Leverkusen in a tasty Matchday 16 curtain-raiser on Friday 10 January.
In the meantime, we hope you and your loved ones have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
