Jadon Sancho has all the tools at his disposal to become one of the world's best footballers, according to Borussia Dortmund teammate Paco Alcacer.

Sancho, 19, has followed up his league-leading tally of 14 assists last season by laying on three goals for Alcacer in all competitions so far in 2019/20.

He's also scored three of his own, after netting 12 in the Bundesliga in his breakout top-flight campaign.

The antithesis of a one-hit wonder, Alcacer believes the teenaged winger can forth and conquer the world.

"He's still a 'kid, he's 19, has all the right characteristics, and if he doesn't suffer a dip, he'll be a top player." Alcacer told Spanish publication, Sport.

"There are doubts because of his age, but as a player and a person in the dressing room, there's no faulting him. If he keeps improving and acquires a few more attributes, he'll be one of the best in the world."

For many, Sancho is already in that category.

The Dortmund No.7's strike in BVB's Matchday 2 win away to Cologne was his 15th in the Bundesliga, making him the youngest player in German top-flight history to reach that mark.

And when he's not taking chances, he's making them - by the bucket-load - with his assist in the Matchday 3 loss at Union Berlin representing his 17th since the start of the previous season.

No other player from Europe's top five leagues – including the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1 – has set up as many goals in that time.

It is a quite remarkable return from a remarkable player who, remarkably, found his path to first-team football with former employers Manchester City blocked, prompting his move to Dortmund in summer 2017.

Sancho has since made 60 senior appearances for the Ruhr district club, producing 17 goals and 27 assists, as well as earning his first full international caps for England.

Unsurprisingly, he is in the Three Lions' squad for their September UEFA 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Surprisingly, he doesn't turn 20 until March 2020.

Better still, 'the Sanch' is set celebrate his 50th Bundesliga outing when BVB face former coach Peter Bosz and Bayer Leverkusen on 14 September.

No wonder Alcacer has tipped his chief supply line for the very top.
