This time Weigl loses the ball just on the edge of his own area, and Nmecha can essentially pick his spot freely in front of Omlin. But the Swiss keeper dives lightning-fast to his right and manages to prevent what looked like a certain goal for the Wolves. Fantastic save by the Gladbach captain!

The Foals welcome the Wolves
Just five point and two places apart, with exactly the same number of goals scored before today's game, there are plenty of similarities between these two side. They have also both been in with a shout for European football, although untimely dips in form brought those hopes to an end. For the hosts, 2024/25 represents a huge improvement, as they enter today's game already 11 points better off than last season. Wolfsburg sit in 12th, the same place they ended last season in, but are three points better off. Nine games without a win, and the consequent departure of Ralph Hasenhüttl, means there will be the slight taste of disappointment going into today's finale.
