Frankfurt fresh from European success
Despite the fact that they've had consecutive losses in their last three league games, Frankfurt come into this game full of confidence and motivation. Having beaten Ajax over two legs in the Europa League, and with Mainz drawing against Freiburg on Saturday, the Eagles are well placed to gain serious ground on third place.
Relegation race heating up
With St. Pauli winning at Hoffenheim yesterday, Bochum are five points away from safety as things stand, and face a Frankfurt side who come into this fixture on the back of a Europa League round of 16 win against Ajax.

Great escape?
Bochum have turned their season around with a series of impressive results, which have put them in touching distance of safety. They have beaten both Bayern and Dortmund and have picked up draws against Leipzig and Wolfsburg, meaning they are now just two points behind St. Pauli in 15th.
Champions League on the horizon?
Frankfurt are currently fourth, 22 points above 16th placed Bochum. They have lost two on the bounce in the league, however, to Bayer Leverkusen and Union Berlin.
