HERTHA DENIED

A long ball from Tousart sends Belfodil away in behind and he slots home past Neuer, but the flag is up on the far side and the new signing from Hoffenheim is marginally offside.
84'

LEWANDOWSKI HAT-TRICK!

It's three for Lewandowski and five for Bayern in the final minutes here. Kimmich whips in a trademark corner to the back post and Nianzou is there to meet it. He heads back across goal and Lewandowski is ready in front of Schwolow to head home.
83'

ALMOST FIVE!

A mistake from Boyata hands Lewandowski the chance for a hat-trick in front of the Hertha goal, but a big block comes in to keep him out this time.
81'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Two more substitutions from Nagelsmann who brings on Choupo-Moting and Sarr here.
79'

LATE CHANGE

Darida is on in place of Serdar in the Hertha midfield.

BIG NIGHT FOR LEWY!

It's now 300 goals across all competitions for Robert Lewandowski at Bayern Munich.
75'

OFF THE POST!

Goretzka almost adds a fifth as Kimmich's corner is flicked on to the back post by Nianzou. Goretzka has a free header from close range, but not much time to react and he can only find the post next to a stranded Schwolow.
73'

CRUISE CONTROL

The Allianz Arena is standing to applaud their side with 25,000 in the ground this evening. It's been a fantastic performance from Bayern, who are looking good for all three points with 15 minutes to play.
70'

ANOTHER FOR LEWANDOWSKI!

Lewy goal, Sane assist and Bayern have four. It's fantastic play from Sane who exchanges a one-two with Müller as he races from the left flank to run in behind the Hertha defence. He then looks up to spot Lewandowski in front of goal and slots home with ease.

STILL FIGHTING

Hertha are three down and staring a third-straight Bundesliga defeat to start the season in the face, but they are still pushing on looking for a way back here.

CHANGES GALORE

Three substitutions for Hertha as Richter, Belfodil and Klünter all come on, while Sane replaces Musiala to a standing-ovation for Bayern.

MAGIC MUSIALA

A superb solo effort from Bayern's young midfielder.

SELKE DOWN

Hertha's main-man in attack is down after taking a knee from Nianzou to his back. Looks as if he'll have to come off here.

NO GETTING PASSED DAVIES

Lukebakio and Davies race for a loose ball into the corner and the Canadian takes no chances, muscling the Belgian off the ball and conceding a throw-in at the same time. The home support enjoyed that one.
53'

BAYERN ON THE HUNT!

Lewandowski dribbles past one, two, three into the Hertha area and fires at goal, but he can't beat the fourth man in his way as Stark blocks his shot. Bayern are on top, in control and looking for more here.
49'

MUSIALA MAKES IT THREE!

Bayern have come flying out of the blocks in the second half and Musiala puts them three ahead. Zeefuik takes too much time on the ball and Müller swoops in to steal it away. He looks up to see Musiala in space inside the Hertha area and the Germany international opens his body to slot home with a fantastic finish.

BACK UNDERWAY!

A change at the break for Bayern with Upamecano taken off as a precaution. He's replaced by fellow countryman Nianzou.

CLOSE AGAIN!

Süle is up the pitch and gets the ball after a lovely flick from Musiala. He goes for goal himself but his shot is blocked out to Gnabry. Bayern come forward again from there, with Gnabry sending in a teasing cross from the right which Müller and Lewandowski both come close to putting home.

MAKE THAT 13 FOR LEWY

A new personal best for Lewandowski, who has now scored in 13 consecutive Bundesliga matches.
44'

BOTH BACK UP

Boyata and Schwolow are both able to continue after a short delay.
42'

CLASH OF HEADS

Schwolow and Boyata have clashed heads here in the Hertha defence as they both went for a high ball. Both down taking treatment.
40'

BOYATA TO THE RESCUE

Fantastic from Bayern as Musiala slides Gnabry in behind the Hertha defence down the right. He looks to find Lewandowski back across goal with a low cross, but Boyata slides in ahead of him to force a corner.
39'

ANOTHER LEWANDOWSKI RECORD

Robert Lewandowski has now scored at least once in each of his last 16 official matches for Bayern, beating Gerd Müller's historic record (he scored in 15 consecutive official matches in 1969 and 1970).

BAYERN TAKING THEIR CHANCES

Both sides have had five attempts on goal in this first half, but it's Bayern who are two goals to the good.

LEWANDOWSKI MAKES IT TWO!

Bayern break through the middle with Goretzka, who slides Gnabry in on the right. He dinks a cross into the middle for Lewandowski to attack and his header bounces back out off the crossbar. Lewandowski goes for the rebound, along with Boyata and Stark, but beats them both to it to head in himself. Another game, another Lewy goal.

BIG CHANCE FOR GORETZKA!

That should really be 2-0 for Bayern as Kimmich curls in a cracking corner from the left and it finds Goretzka free in front of goal. He meets it well, but his header goes wide of the mark from eight yards out.
24'

GORETZKA SHOT BLOCKED

Bayern break forward from the left with Davies and the play is switched across to the right. Stanisic picks it up on the edge of the area and lays the ball off for Greotzka to fire at goal, but it takes a deflection off a Hertha defender and goes behind.

"GOOD WORK, PHONZY"

Thomas Müller looks pleased with the assist from Alphonso Davies.
20'

HERTHA SUB

Jovetic can't continue here, so Dilrosun comes on in his place.
18'

BACK ON FOR NOW

Jovetic is going to look to continue here, at least for the time being.
16'

JOVETIC DOWN

It's not looking good for Jovetic here, who is down with an injury to his left foot by the looks of it. Looks as if one of Hertha's danger-men in attack is going to have to come off.
13'

PRESSING WELL

Hertha are not allowing a moment's rest for Bayern's men here. As soon as they get on the ball there are blue shirts around them, but Bayern are doing the same the other way, too.
10'

MUSIALA FLOATING

Bayern's teenage attacking midfielder looks to have been given a free-roaming role today. He started out on the left, but is floating into a central position alongside Müller to break away from his markers.
6'

MÜLLER MAKES IT 1-0!

And just like that, Bayern take the lead. Davies is found in acres of space on the left after fine work from Gnabry who wins the ball back, dribbles through a few and passes to Musiala, who flicks Davies in. His ball across the box is dummied by Lewandowski and Müller fires home with a low shot behind him.

CONFIDENT START

Bayern have had plenty of the ball in the early goings but Hertha have pushed forward quickly when they've had it. Selke is sent over the top of the home side's defence but can't get his shot, just in front of the byline, on target.
3'

BIG CHANCE FOR SELKE!

A mistake in midfield from Bayern sees the ball squirm through their defence for Selke to race onto. He's a touch too slow to get away from Upamecano so has to go for an early shot, but it's a tame effort which Neuer can hold onto.

Kick-off!

WEATHER TURNING IN MUNICH

The rain is pouring down at the Allianz Arena here as we get closer and closer to kick-off. It's going to add another element to the game this evening.

HERTHA'S EARLY STRUGGLES

Hertha were relegated the last time they lost their opening two fixtures of a Bundesliga season (1990/91). Now they're looking to not let it become three. But Dardai's won only one of his 10 Bundesliga fixtures against Bayern as Hertha coach - a 2-0 home win on Matchday 6 of 2018/19.

JOVETIC: "I'VE SCORED AGAINST BAYERN BEFORE!"

Montenegro captain Stevan Jovetic is confident that Hertha Berlin will start getting results to lift them off the foot of the table - maybe even against Bayern Munich on Saturday. Jovetic told bundesliga.com in an exclusive interview that he is sure Hertha will come good…

BAYERN'S RECORD RUN

Bayern have scored at least once in a European record 74 consecutive competitive matches. The last time they were kept from scoring was in February 2020, against Nagelsmann's former side RB Leipzig. A good omen for that run continuing, is, that Nagelsmann has never lost a Bundesliga match against Hertha as a coach (W7, D4).

COMMENCE LEWY WATCH!

Lewandowski's scored 12 goals in 18 Bundesliga meetings with Hertha, including all four as Bayern won last season's corresponding fixture 4-3.

WATCH: WELCOME TO THE ALLIANZ ARENA!

Bayern's home ready to host the Saturday evening game this week...

BAYERN TEAM NEWS

Gnabry's brace against Cologne last time out keeps him in the side, while Sane is dropped to the bench with Musiala impressing enough to earn a start. Stanisic returns at right-back after Nianzou started last Sunday, with no new injury concerns for Nagelsmann to manage.

HERTHA TEAM NEWS

There has been significant transfer business at the Olympiastadion this week, with Cunha departing for Atletico Madrid while Belfodil has signed from Hoffenheim to bolster the attack. Belfodil is on the bench this weekend, but Jovetic is back into the first XI having begun the defeat to Wolfsburg from the bench. Selke leads the line once more with Piatek still ruled out. Boateng, meanwhile, was withdrawn before half-time with back pain having already taken pain killers to start last weekend and misses out.
